The same colour, different light
Lighting changes how colours are perceived.
We used the same furniture colour in the kitchen and bathroom. Lighting affects colour perception — its type, temperature and direction can make the same shade look different in each room.
In this project, a shared furniture colour and framed details connect the kitchen and bathroom. Kitchen photos show the actual interior with conventional adjustments. Bathroom photos were taken during building works and their surroundings tidied using AI — we describe the changes with each image.
