Challenging geometry

Every centimetre mattered.

This project required the fitted unit to be precisely matched to the stair flight, glass balustrade and existing passageways. Each space changes in width and height along the slope, so the entire arrangement had to be individually tailored.

  • Following the stair line and balustrade slope
  • Shelves fitted to the changing height of the space
  • Using a hard-to-access space for library shelving
  • White fitted furniture combined with a vertical veneered surface

Precision workmanship

Fitted furniture following a slope.

The upper divisions follow the shape of the stair flight, while the lower shelves end precisely at successive steps. The white structure remains visually light despite holding many books.

A coherent end to the form

Veneered side and flush door.

The tall oak surface creates an orderly view from the passage. The flush door does not interrupt the veneer grain, making the enclosed section look like continuous cladding.

Let's discuss your fitted furniture.

Let's use a space that standard furniture cannot accommodate.
